Does anyone have any knowledge of the river access point that is alongside the river in the town of Attica?
The spot is a park called "Ouabache," but there is also a different park called Ouabache near Bluffton and another different park near Vincennes that is also called Ouabache. I grew up close to the Bluffton Ouabache park and I know what it has. (And, yes, I grew up calling is "Kwa-ba-che" and all sorts of variations until I learned to just say Wabash!)
Anuyway, now I am interested in the one near Attica. It seems like a good place to overnight during a long weekend on the river between Lafayette and Montezuma-- IF camping is allowed and there are facilities for cooking.
There is some confusion in the information provided through the online sources. (cited below.) What I need to know is whether overnight camping is allowed at the park in Attica. Anyone?
